Terms & Condition's

 Following recent events of Covid-19 the following is in place for classes:

  • No equipment will be provided, you must bring your own

  • If you or anyone in your household has had COVID symptoms in the last 7 days you must not attend class

  • Hand sanitiser at the doors 

  • I have been asked to keep name, telephone number and email for all those that attend for 3 weeks

  • Your place on 'classes' or 'events' are not secure until I have received an online booking and where required a payment in full. 

  • 'Advance Booking' classes must be used within 5 weeks from booking and can not be carried forward past the the 5th week.  At this point a new 'Advance Booking' must be made for the next 5 weeks (Advance Bookings offer a discounted price per class as you are booking classes in advance and in block) PLEASE NOTE: The block booking class pass is discounted, so that you can benefit from a discount per class. However, this is offered on the basis that if you fail to attend a class, it will still be marked as attended. If you are unable to attend your regular session for any reason, you are able to book onto another that same week, providing that there is a space available. You are unable to carry this over to another week. 

  • I am unable to offer a refund or carry over a class if you are unable to attend 'Single' class you have already paid for. 

  • Private classes (121's, Corporate, Hens etc) shall be booked directly with me and dates arranged for the class to take place.  Deposits received will be non refundable if cancelled within 2 weeks of the event. If however in the unlikely event I have to cancel the deposit is fully refundable.


  • For events, I will refund you at my discretion (less an admin fee of a percentage of the ticket cost) if I am able to sell your ticket to someone else. Whilst I make every effort to do this, it is not always possible and remains at my discretion. ​​

  • Students need to find a yoga teacher they are happy with.  I strongly advise attending my classes on a 'Single Class' booking basis before committing to an 'Advance Booking' option to make sure my style of teaching is what you are looking for.

  • By booking any class with me be it a single class, block booking, hen party, workshop, retreat or any other event with me you are agreeing to the following disclaimer and participating at your own risk:     I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress, reduction and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that i alone am responsible to decide whether to practice yoga. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that i have now or hereafter may have against Katie Mclaughlan, Katie Louise Yoga. 

  • All students must notify me of any illness/health conditions/injury including pregnancy. This will be kept confidential

  • I reserve the right to move location, time, or weekly availability of class but always promise to keep students updated in person, via email or social media.

  • As a teacher I may make adjustments to correct or improve posture alignment. (I invite you to state privately at the start of every class it you would rather not receive adjustments).

  • All students must read these t&c's when booking a class or event with Katie Louise Yoga and means you agree and accept these terms


To comply with the current and new Data Protection laws Katie Louise Yoga will;

  • Always keep your personal data stored under password protected log ins 

  • Only use your data to communicate with you for the purpose of my business activities and marketing (this may be from software owned by a third party but is password protected)

  • Allow you to see all the data I hold on you

  • Never share your personal data for 3rd parties to use

  • Allow you at any time to request the deletion or access of your personal data

  • Allow you remove yourself from newsletter communications (Please click unsubscribe on news letter footer)

  • Only keep your data for as long a necessary after you have ceased attending classes

  • Keep any medical records from your sign up form for no longer than legally required
